A principios de este año, la Asociación para el Servicio Público seleccionó a 29 empleados federales excepcionales como finalistas para recibir las medallas Samuel J. Heyman de Servicio a Estados Unidos (las “Sammies”). El Dr. Pérez-Stable y el Dr. Gibbons fueron los ganadores de la medalla de Respuesta al COVID-19 por encabezar dos importantes programas federales: CEAL y RADx-UP.

Para aclarar las dudas, el doctor Jaime Deville, pediatra y profesor clínico de la Universidad de California en Los Ángeles (UCLA), responde a las preguntas más frecuentes sobre la vacuna contra COVID-19 que tienen los padres de familia durante la temporada de regreso a clases.
